In Connecticut, responsibility for redrawing legislative and congressional district lines rests with the General Assembly and it is required to do so every ten years based on the results of the decennial federal census. The Connecticut General Assembly adopted their redistricting plan on November 30, 2011.
As a result of that redistricting, Wethersfield has re-drawn its voting district maps. There are now six local voting districts and polling places, where previously there had been ten. The Elections Department has published a revised list of polling locations, and the Wethersfield Voting District Map has been updated.
