Sharon Historical Society Exhibit on Evelyn Pohler and Wethersfield: Opening Night

Unbeknownst to many, Wethersfield Estate & Garden was designed by Sharon, CT native Evelyn Poehler, a Landscape Architect lost to time but one who belongs in the pantheon of Beatrix Farrand and Ellen Shipman. Her classical yet innovative use of native flowers as an element of horticulture design is inspired. From June 14 to October 11, The Sharon Historical Society is running an exhibit on Mrs. Poehler and Wethersfield. We invite you to join us on opening night, Friday, June 14 at 6pm.
