Friends of Wethersfield Garden Luncheon
With great excitement, we invite you to join us for the Sixth Annual Friends of Wethersfield Garden Luncheon Saturday, September 5, 2026 – a special afternoon celebrating community, stewardship, and legacy. This year, we proudly honor Zibby Farran Tozer for her remarkable and enduring commitment to Conservation, Horticulture and the Cultural Arts, all synonymous with Wethersfield’s Mission. Holly Lipsky, Perrin Berkey, and Natasha Blodgett are the co-chairs of this much-celebrated event. Vicki Salnikoff will be our Live Auctioneer.
Zibby and Jim Tozer’s connection to Wethersfield began as neighboring stewards of the land, when they acquired their adjoining farm and formed a neighborly friendship with Mr. Stillman. Mr. Stillman graciously encouraged them and their young children to wander Wethersfield freely, embracing it as a place of imagination and quiet discovery. Since the 1980’s, the Tozers have continued to enjoy all Wethersfield has to offer.
This cherished annual gathering, set within Wethersfield’s breathtaking, 1,000-acre historic landscape, brings together those who care deeply about preserving its beauty and legacy for generations to come.
We invite you to become a Patron of the event, at one the following levels:
Garden Underwriter…….$1,500 per ticket, or $12,000 per table of eight
Garden Benefactor…….$800 per ticket, or $6,400 per table of eight

The Friends of Wethersfield Garden Luncheon raises much-needed funds for the restoration, preservation, and enhancement of the garden and grounds as well as for the creation of both cultural and recreational programming for the community. A 1,000-acre sanctuary of elegance and charm, Wethersfield remains a marvel. Its garden is among the most significant Italianate Renaissance gardens in the United States.
This elegant event sells out each year, so be sure to reserve your place early. Should you wish to be included as a Patron on the formal invitation, kindly respond before June 15.
