Join us for a special book signing with celebrated photographer Pieter Estersohn! His latest work, "Back to the Land" offers a captivating glimpse into farmstead living and the rich tapestry of the Hudson River Valley community.
The Sharon Historical Society and Museum invites you to the opening of a new exhibition, in collaboration with Wethersfield, on Evelyn Poehler, the pioneering 20th c. landscape architect who created the masterpiece garden at Wethersfield.
The exhibition features original renderings, correspondence, and notations from Wethersfield's archives.
Poehler’s landscape design is considered among the finest classical gardens in America.
Join Jeff Lynch, Head Gardener and Alaina Mancini, Head of Horticulture, to dig deeper into the history of Wethersfield Estate & Garden.
Join us for an inspiring evening of music as we present the Shared Voices Residency Recital, a collaboration with the Denyce Graves Foundation and Wethersfield. The recital will showcase the exceptional talents of emerging young voices from top music conservatories and Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs).

Join us for a unique opportunity this summer as BalletCollective hosts a movement class in the garden. This class, led by a principal dancer, is open to all adults regardless of dance experience. Whether you're a seasoned dancer or a complete beginner, this class will offer insightful instruction and a chance to engage with movement in a supportive and inspiring environment. Class will end with a Q&A session, offering insights in to the artistry and lifestyle of a professional dancer.
Wethersfield Estate & Garden and the Dutchess Land Conservancy have partnered for a Garden and Woods Walk on Friday, July 19, 2024.
This exciting movement class, led by a principal dancer from BalletCollective, is designed specifically for children ages 8 and up. Whether your child is already taking dance classes or simply loves to move, this class will offer insightful instruction and an opportunity to engage with movement in a supportive and inspiring environment.
