“It doesn’t seem like it’s channeling a bygone time … [Wethersfield Garden] which is now open to the public and undergoing a sensitive restoration … It’s very fresh and crisp.”
- Architect Peter Pennoyer in Architectural Digest
2020 has reminded us to consider the value of land, nature, beauty, and open space. Wethersfield Garden waived admission fee last summer in order to enable access for all. Now the days grow shorter and winter approaches. Eventually there will be light and shots of tulips - the harbingers of spring. And then later - as the days grow longer – to the gladiolas, and the dahlias, and high summer. This Giving Tuesday, we invite you to buy flowers to honor a friend, remember a loved one. Or, to say thank you to a 2020 COVID-19 first responder/essential worker.
