Plan Your Visit

Wethersfield Estate & Garden is open to the public from June to mid-October between the hours of 10 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. During these hours, visitors are invited to stroll through the Wethersfield Garden.

Reservations are strongly encouraged and intended to ensure that the footprint of the garden remains small and intimate and that all our visitors can experience it in the manner intended – as a place of quiet refuge.

Trail Visits

Trails are accessible to horseback riders, carriage drivers, hikers, and dog walkers.

Available January to mid-November for hikers and mid-April to mid-November for Equestrian.

 

 

House Tours

Guided house tours run twice weekly on select Saturdays at 10:30 AM and 12:00 PM (June – October). House Tour Reservations are required, and space is limited. 

Admission: $10 (plus processing fees) for non-members

From north or south on the Taconic State Parkway, take the exit to US44/Poughkeepsie/Millbrook. 

Turn east on Route 44 toward Millbrook. Continue 10.9 miles on 44 east to Bangall Amenia Rd. Watch for the blue Wethersfield Garden signs. 

Turn left onto Bangall Amenia Rd and continue for 2.4 miles. Turn right onto Pugsley Hill Rd and drive for 1.4 miles to the estate entrance on your left.
